The MetroPole is a fat 21mm (13/16 inch) diameter carbon tube that has the comfortable hand feel of a traditional oak staff (not the slick cold feel of aluminum tubing). But the MetroPole is one fifth the weight of oak and even stronger... it is twice as stiff as any other staff on the market. The unique sliding hand strap (not a wrist strap) means you don't accidentally drop the Pole and the Prussik knot allows instant height adjustment to make your arm comfortable as you walk... or play the slots!
All the Tips You Need. No old-man crutch tip on this staff! The wine cork tip looks very urban and works great on floors at the mall or sidewalks and streets; it has just the right bounce and makes no noise. You can replace the cork. On unpaved paths, the epoxy/aluminum tip is perfect and on trails the basket tips does the job. All the tips will mount on the end of any section.
Lifetime Guarantee -- Making a joint with carbon tubing is very difficult... and we know how to do it. There is no unreliable locking mechanism to jam or collapse.
